HOPE
CASSANDRA
ABOUT
Hope Cassandra is an actress, writer, and producer based in NYC. In all realms, she creates work that grounds characters with farcical and upright supernatural desires. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Tisch, (Experimental Theater Wing), and comedic training from Second City Chicago, Upright Citizens Brigade, and Brooklyn Comedy Collective.
Hope feels deeply and sees things that often go unnoticed. Between her ability to “read the energy of a room” and her work as a yoga teacher; Hope feels qualified to identify as "culturally witchy but not in a way that's annoying." She considers herself an amateur gatherer, thanks to an especially illuminating Priya Parker rabbit-hole, and is proud of the community of creatives that she spends her time among.
Cassandra's short film: “Low Impact,” a surreal physical comedy about the commodification and comparison within wellness, shoots July in NYC. She wrote, performed in, and produced the play “Obsessed” which made its Off Broadway debut at Soho Playhouse and completed a subsequent, sold out run at Under St Marks Frigid. The play is about celebrity worship and chronically online Gen-Zs. Her duo-sketch team "Passive Income" with Juliet Davidson was born in Chicago and recently performed at UCB Spank.
Hope can be heard on Audible and can be seen on Paramount Plus in "Blues Big City Adventure" playing the role of "Twenty Something" which she also plays on a day to day.
