HOPE
CASSANDRA
ABOUT
Hope Cassandra is an actress, writer, and creative producer based in NYC. She creates work that grounds characters with absurd desires.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Tisch, (Experimental Theater Wing), and comedic training from Second City Chicago, Upright Citizens Brigade, and Brooklyn Comedy Collective.
Hope feels deeply and sees things that often go unnoticed. Between her ability to “read the energy of a room” and her work as a yoga teacher; Hope feels qualified to identify as "culturally witchy but not in a way that's annoying."
Hope wrote, performed in, and produced the play “Obsessed.” which made its Off Broadway debut at Soho Playhouse and had a subsequent, sold out run at Under St Marks Frigid in January. The play is about celebrity worship and chronically online Gen-Zs. Her duo-sketch team “Passive Income" with Juliet Davidson specializes in workplace comedy. Her short film: “Low Impact,” a comedy about women centered workout classes, is in pre-production.
Hope can be heard on Audible and can be seen on Paramount Plus in "Blues Big City Adventure" playing the role of "Twenty Something" which she also plays on a day to day.
